BIRDSCAPES ART EXHIBITION
EVENT CANCELLED: Pensthorpe Natural Park was planned to be the setting for the second Bird & Wildlife Fair over the weekend of the 16th and 17th of May 2020. Following last year’s successful introduction, this celebration of nature and wildlife in Norfolk, was to include many exhibitors from connected fields and featuring guest speakers, demonstrations, walks, talks and book signings. The Birdscapes exhibition at the initial fair provided a great opportunity to discover a wide range of contemporary bird and wildlife art from all over the UK.
It was with regret that Pensthorpe Conservation Trust took the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Bird & Wildlife Fair on account of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation and the rate at which it was evolving.
As an event which attracts thousands of nature enthusiasts and encourages them to try optical equipment, join guided walks and sit in large groups to listen to talks and demonstrations, this was felt to be the most appropriate and responsible decision to make for Pensthorpe staff, exhibitors, sponsors, speakers and all visitors.
